Subject: Request for action against unauthorized construction in 112/S PECHS Block-2

Respected Sir,

I am writing to bring your attention to an ongoing issue of unauthorized construction in our residential area, which has become a matter of great concern for the residents.

I have been a resident of Plot No. ………, PECHS Block 2, for the past 50 years. Our neighborhood has always been a peaceful and well maintained residential area, with construction restricted to one or two floors. However, in recent years this standard has been ignored leading to the construction of multi-story buildings which is in violation with the areas regulations and has disrupted the lives of long-standing residents.

It is further submitted that presently the owner of a building facing my house i.e. ……… PECHS Block2 has started raising construction which is unauthorized and illegal. The owner of the said building namely Mr. Tahir Zaki has already built three floors which are occupied, and is now adding a penthouse on top of this structure. This addition is not only unauthorized but also raises serious concerns about the privacy for my family as well as other residents of the locality.

It is further submitted that the wrongful and illegal acts of the owner of the said building by raising construction has severely disturbed the daily activities of the residents as well as raising serious privacy concerns of the residents of the said area and severely affecting environment town planning and shall suffer even more if the owner of the said building is not restrained from such acts.

That the constitutional rights of the residents of the area including right to privacy and right to safety have seriously been violated by raising this construction on the said building.

Furthermore, the consequences of such act of unauthorized illegal constructions includes:

Loss of privacy

Taller buildings overlook homes, compromising, and the privacy of the families of the residents.

Overcrowding

The number of residents per plot has drastically increased with 8-10 families now living in areas originally designed for one or two families.
